Who we are.

My name is Massimo. I am Italian and I live in Piedmont, which is situated in the north west of Italy. My home town is Canelli which is in the Asti region which among other things is famous for the sparkling wine Asti Spumante.

I am married to Cristina and we have two young children, our daughter Martina to whom we dedicate our wines and our son Mattia, the namesake of our villa. Cristina is a linguist and has her own language school.

We both come from families of wine growers and producers and we would like to introduce you to the wines of Piedmont. We believe our vineyards produce some of the best wine you will ever taste. Let us show you how we grow our grapes and produce our wines.

Villa Mattia the home of my family for four generations, is now available to rent. It can be found amongst the vineyards of San Stefano Belbo which is in the Cuneo region of Piedmont.
